To avoid unpleasant surprises when you return from vacation this summer, follow these tips:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before taking the vacation route\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember to record your payment orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are expecting an invoice before your departure, find out from your supplier the amount invoiced in order to record your payment order. You will leave with peace of mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Request digital invoicing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Knowing that you will be abroad with access to your emails, ask to receive your invoices digitally. You can also notify your suppliers of your absence, especially if it will be of long duration. Finally, remember to activate automatic replies in your email box to indicate your period of absence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During your vacation\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ask a loved one to check your mail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether it's a relative, a friend or a neighbor, ask them to check your mailbox. This trusted person may be able to send you any invoices due for which payment cannot wait for your return, or any other urgent request. And, in the event of a long-term absence, why not appoint this person to take care of your administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discover your banking application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nowadays, most banks have implemented a mobile application. It's time to test it. Via these applications, you can consult your bank accounts remotely and make your payments, register your direct debits, enter your payment orders, etc. These applications must be completely secure. Nothing stops you from using your homebanking on vacation, provided you don't forget your connection box in your suitcases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once back home...<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It's too late !!! Yes and no. Yes, you are late on your payment. And the application of the general payment conditions will cause you additional costs. And no, it's never too late to pay that bill. Even if this is increased by late fees, you must pay this amount quickly. The sooner you get in order, the less late fees you will have to pay. If your supplier sent you an invoice during your absence and you have not honored it, the costs in accordance with the general payment conditions will be your responsibility. And if your payment takes too long, you risk receiving a formal notice letter from a collection company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
